If you want a luxury car but don’t want to have to pay the extra price for one than reserve a mid-size car and then when you get to the rental place ask them if they have any vehicles that you could upgrade to. Most car rental companies will then offer you the luxury car for only a few dollars more, since that will put more in their pockets for a vehicle that would otherwise be sitting.
